The Office of the University Controller oversees certain technical components of several enterprise financial systems and third-party applications that faciliate Indiana University's compliance with accounting, payroll, procurement, and domestic and international tax reporting requirements. This section describes those systems, who the typical users are, how we support those users, and directs them to additional resources. Kuali Financial System (KFS) - IU's core financial system.
Kuali Time - Plays an important role in ensuring paycheck accuracy for IU’s hourly and biweekly staff.
HRMS Payroll - Where paychecks for all IU employees are calculated.
APIs and Integrations - Any external application that streamlines mass billings and other transactions to the KFS General Ledger. These connections may be in the form of an Application Programming Interface (API) or integration.
